- Verify if the “Controls Locked” status light is on (some models) and the correct cycle is selected.
- Verify that the door is firmly closed/latched.
- Check the Circuit Breaker or Fuse Box.

Why is my dryer not drying?
- Ensure the lint screen is clear of any lint or debris.
- Verify if the exhaust vent or outside exhaust hood is clogged with lint, as these conditions may be restricting airflow.

How To Prepare For Your Dryer Installation
- The installer can only connect to the venting supplied with the installation, which is a new 4″ rigid pipe that is within 8′ of the appliance. The installer will not connect to plastic or foil venting.
- Make sure the electrical outlet is securely attached to the wall or floor and meets the National Electrical Code requirements for dryers.
- Make sure the electrical outlet is properly secured in a junction box with a cover plate and is less than 2′ from the back of the appliance.
- If the dryer is installed in a closet, make sure proper ventilation requirements are met. Review the manufacturer’s installation instructions to check.
- Gas Dryers: The installer will not perform LP gas conversions.
