- The installer can only connect to the venting supplied with the installation, which is a new 4ā³ rigid pipe that is within 8ā² of the appliance. The installer will not connect to plastic or foil venting.
- Make sure the electrical outlet is securely attached to the wall or floor and meets the National Electrical Code requirements for dryers.
- Make sure the electrical outlet is properly secured in a junction box with a cover plate and is less than 2ā² from the back of the appliance.
- If the dryer is installed in a closet, make sure proper ventilation requirements are met. Review the manufacturerās installation instructions to check.
- Gas Dryers: The installer will not perform LP gas conversions.
